FAQ | FlipFix Digital
Questions dealers actually ask.
Everything I hear on intro calls and in DMs, answered in one place. Still missing something? Email shanehnguyen@flipfixdigital.com.
Before you send the teardown form
Is the teardown actually free, or is there a catch?
Actually free. No card required, no trial, no upsell at the end. We send a recorded video and a written scope. If we’re a fit, we talk. If not, you keep both, the teardown alone is usually worth the 48 hours.
What do I need to send in the initial form?
Your site URL and two sentences on what’s broken. That’s it. We don’t need access to your platform, analytics, or anything sensitive. If we need more later to scope accurately, we’ll ask.
Should I redo my site or completely rebuild it?
Depends on what’s broken. If your catalog, checkout, and contractor flow are fundamentally structured wrong, patching costs more than rebuilding and you end up rebuilding anyway in 12 months. If the bones are solid and you’re losing conversions to specific fixable leaks, a rebuild is overkill. The teardown tells you which situation you’re in, that’s the whole point of doing it before quoting anything.
I already have a site or someone building it. Worth a teardown anyway?
Yes, most of the dealers we review already have a site. The teardown is diagnostic, not a pitch to rebuild from scratch. You’ll either validate what you have, find 2–3 specific leaks to fix, or decide the current setup isn’t worth patching. All three outcomes save you money.
Timeline, pricing, and guarantees
How soon can my new site be live?
Three to five weeks for the homeowner site, one to two weeks after that for the contractor portal. Your build slot is booked the day you sign, we take a small number of dealer projects at a time, so the calendar gets real fast.
How do I get started?
Send us your URL for a teardown, no call required. Within 48 hours you’ll have a recorded walk-through of what’s costing you sales and a fixed-price proposal. Deposit books your slot.
Am I actually going to earn more from this?
That’s the point of the build. Your new site captures contractor signups 24/7, closes more homeowner design consults, and gives your contractors spec sheets they can turn into their own closed jobs. You stop leaving revenue on the table between 5 pm Friday and 8 am Monday.
What guarantees do I get?
One full round of revisions is included after launch. We’re on call for 30 days post-launch for anything that breaks. If the site doesn’t match the scope we agreed on, we fix it, at our cost, not yours.
What if I’m not happy with the site during the build?
We don’t wait until launch to find out. You see the site weekly, not at the end. The scope is fixed before you sign, the design system is yours to weigh in on, and the revision round exists so launch-day doesn’t hide surprises.
Once we start building
What do you need from me once we sign?
Access to your current site, your product catalog as a CSV or admin export, any real customer photos or testimonials you already have, and one point of contact on your side who can approve decisions without a committee call.
Will I lose my Google rankings in the rebuild?
No. Every rebuild preserves SEO with proper 301 redirects, migrated metadata, structured data, and the URL patterns Google already indexes. You keep the rankings you’ve earned, the new site just converts the traffic better.
Still have questions?
Send your URL and two sentences on what’s broken. We’ll answer in the teardown video.
